Community Judo Clubs

Judo in the United Kingdom is done primarily in clubs within the community. Within sport in the U.K. there is a drive to develop clubs and ensure they grow and develop in a  healthy way. The Hampshire Judo Academy’s club programme is aimed at supporting and integrating existing clubs and forming new community sports clubs for Judo.

The Academy shall support clubs and assist in their development. Our continuing development processes for coaches and instructors (and in fact all volunteers) will help ensure that all clubs operate in safe, fun and effective manners. We aim to work with both existing clubs and with those wanting to form a Judo club in their community.

Running a club is a tough Job, but one that can be made much easier with a little help. The Academy aims to help clubs by building a network/team of coaches (and other volunteers) who help each other succeed in delivering what we think is the best hobby/sport in the world to our local communities.
